Physician - Physiatry jobs in Queens Village, NY

As a Medical Scribe, your primary responsibility will be to assist healthcare professionals in documenting patient encounters. You will work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient medical record-keeping.

Your duties will include:

- Accompanying physicians during patient visits and documenting the encounter in real-time
- Recording patient history, symptoms, physical examination findings, and treatment plans
- Transcribing medical orders and prescriptions
- Assisting with injections under the direction of healthcare providers
- Performing basic patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
- Providing medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to accurately record information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
