Physician - Physiatry jobs in Saint Cloud, MN

Full-time, 64 hours every two weeks.  Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (off Fridays, evenings and weekends!)  

We are looking to add a Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our team!  This position (part of IBH-Integrated Behavioral Health) will work at Rehab Medicine-Physiatry at the CentraCare Plaza.

$6,000 hiring bonus* for those hired into a Psychotherapist role!

SUMMARY

• As a member of the primary care, behavioral health, or interdisciplinary treatment team provides assessment and treatment services for patients and families with behavioral health and/or medical needs.
• Provides diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and executes therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
• Works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Provides clinical interventions to include individual, marital, couples, family and group therapy to outpatients, ages 5 years to geriatric.
• Assist in staff development through consultation, education and supervision as well as assist in program development when requested. 

Successful candidates will have training, experience, and interest in outpatient assessment, medical knowledge, crisis intervention skills, psychotherapy and teamwork. Preferred candidates will have knowledge and/or experience in behavioral health within a healthcare setting.

PSYCHOLOGIST

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required.
• Minimum of one-year experience is required.
• Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred
• Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP).

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.
• Minimum of one-year experience required.
• State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following:   
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the MN Board of Psychology or 
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the MN Board of Social Work or 
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy or 
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy.

Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.  Nonviolent Crisis Intervention initial and on-going training (or equivalent) provided.
