We are looking for a part-time Medical Assistant with the ability to multitask and able to handle a fast paced, but fun work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

· Greeting and rooming patients

· Taking patient x-rays

· Smoothing and filing

· Documenting patient history into EMR

· Assisting provider with patient exams, preparing exam rooms for specific procedures

· Preparing patient charts, etc. prior to patients visit

· Fitting, patient education and dispensing of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

· Obtaining patient consent for in-office procedures

· Maintaining exam rooms by cleaning and stocking rooms as necessary

· Preparing non-disposable instruments for sterilization

· Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments

· Collecting patient copays and balances when appropriate

· Completing other duties as assigned by the Physician and/ or Practice Manger

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Certified Medical Assistant CMA or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CCMA

· Past Medical Assistant experience

· Knowledge of medical terminology

· Basic computer skills

Hours:

Tuesday: 11:30am-7:00pm

Wednesday: 8:30am-3:00pm

Thursday: 7:30am-12:00pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
