Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the Practice Managers across the El Paso County Hospital District employed physician practices, including UMC El Paso Healthcare, Inc. and the Neighborhood Healthcare Centers. Responsible for the onboarding, integration and growth of new physician practices. Demonstrates leadership, ensures interdisciplinary collaboration among the Practice Managers, develops the necessary processes and infrastructure to ensure consistency, efficiency and overall performance across the different practices. Collaborates with the Administrative team to set departmental priorities and goals in accordance with overall organizational goals and departmental objectives.
Key initiatives include practice integration, monitoring, managing and directing activities of the Physician Practice Managers to include human resources requirements, customer service, patient satisfaction, financials, quality and meaningful use attestations, business information systems, practice profile analysis, and compliance with regulatory bodies. Brings a balance of strategic thinking, directing teams and hands-on execution. Responsible for monthly monitoring of results, variance reporting and actions plans to meet established goals. Monitors outcome measures and shares results with Practice Managers and Administration for continuous process improvement in the clinical area.
