Physician Practice Operations Director directs administrative and clinical services for one or more physician office sites. Establishes standards for the units and monitors the quality of patient care. Being a Physician Practice Operations Director is responsible for overseeing operations of all practice units and ensuring units operate according to established standards. May require a master's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Physician Practice Operations Director typically reports to a top management. The Physician Practice Operations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Physician Practice Operations Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Qualifications

    Education

    Completion of state approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program is required

     

    Experience

    1-2 years of LPN experience is preferred

    Additional proficiencies may be required in some clinical areas

     

    Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice is required

    Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
