Physician Practice Operations Manager jobs in Philadelphia, PA

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.

Responsible for managing and directing the work performed within the practice of 5 or more providers, and/or managing 2-3 practices of 1-2 providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruitment and selection of staff, on-going monitoring and performance evaluation, addressing low performance using current HR guidelines.
• Rounds regularly on staff identifying individual and practice level issues/concerns.
• Works closely with physician leadership in the practice to identify, recommend, and implement plans related to practice needs: patient access, staffing, practice services, and equipment.
• Responsible for holding monthly physician/management meetings: establishing agenda, preparing data, and participating in decision making.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BA or BS in related field required. Five (5) years of management experience, and exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge and experience with electronic medical record systems, proficient in Microsoft Office suite, excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
