Physician Practice Operations Manager jobs in Tucson, AZ

We are in search of an experienced leader to manage our team of medical professionals. Our Physician Practice Managers are responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions associated with their respective practice. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation, inventory control, personnel management, patient relations, patient flow, etc. As a leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of goals and objectives as well as develop and implement new office procedures as necessary to improve office flow and overall operations.

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Charge Entry

• Cash Reconciliation

• Claims Review

• Interviewing, hiring and orienting new staff members

• Adherence to budget

• Provide monthly reporting and actions plans to leadership

• Assists management of the market with physician leadership

• Identify methods to mitigate costs and identify additional streams of revenue

• Assist with strategic planning and resource allocation

• Ensure site is in regulatory compliance with agencies such as OSHA, CLIA, DHS, etc.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of three years in progressive and hands-on managerial experience in a medical practice

• Demonstrated skill using MS Office products to including Excel and Word

• Knowledge of healthcare fiscal management and human resource management practices

• Understanding of EMR and billing systems

• Knowledge of meaningful use

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to apply policies and principals to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations

• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to gather, analyze and interpret information
