Physician Practice Operations Manager manages and coordinates administrative and clinical services for one or more physician office sites. Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Being a Physician Practice Operations Manager supervises medical, nursing, and clerical staff to ensure quality patient care. Prepares periodic practice metrics and statistics. Additionally, Physician Practice Operations Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Physician Practice Operations Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Physician Practice Operations Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Qualifications

    Education

    Completion of state approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program is required

     

    Experience

    1-2 years of LPN experience is preferred

    Additional proficiencies may be required in some clinical areas

     

    Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice is required

    Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
