Physician - Pulmonary Medicine examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the lungs. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Pulmonary Medicine recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Pulmonary Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:
- This role is full-time with call rotation (night call 3-4 times per month, one of
which will occur on a weekend).
- No overnights (24/7 Critical Care Coverage)
- Closed ICU
SCHEDULE OUTLINE:
- 1 week per month ICU
- 1 week per month pulmonary consults
- 2 weeks per month in office (if certified in Sleep, one day per week will be
in Sleep Center)
- REQUIREMENTS- Applicants should have the following:
- NYS licensure and DEA required
- Board Certification in Pulmonary / Critical Care
- Board Certification in Sleep Medicine preferred
