    Position Overview:
    We are currently seeking a Full-time Manager of Radiation Services to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in administering radiation therapy treatments to patients while ensuring accuracy in positioning the radiation beam to correspond with the designated tumor volume and delivering the prescribed dose. You will also be responsible for supporting and adhering to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with precision and care.
    • Ensure accurate positioning of the radiation beam to target the designated tumor volume.
    • Deliver prescribed radiation doses to patients as per their treatment plans.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the radiation therapy team.
    • Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
    • Adhere to the highest standards of safety and radiation therapy protocols.
    • Support and promote the US Oncology Compliance Program, including ethical and business standards.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
    • Minimum of seven years of radiation therapy experience, including at least two years actively practicing as an RTT or Dosimetrist.
    • Minimum of five years of managerial and/or administrative experience.
    • ARRT certification is required.
    • Valid state licensure for radiation therapy is mandatory.
    • Certified Medical Dosimetry certificate is preferred, but not required.

    Physical Demands:
    The physical demands for this position include sitting and using hands to finger, handle, or feel regularly. Occasionally, you may be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds may also be necessary. Vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges are essential.

    Work Environment:
    In this role, you may be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a radiation therapy environment. Regular travel by air or automobile within the service area may be required.
