We are searching for an Rad - Interventional Technologist to Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient's chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Able to properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others. Assist physicians in performing procedures. Provide functional or technical supervision of radiology aides (imaging assistants), other assigned non-technical employees and other practitioners, as applicable. Provide supervision and instruction to assigned affiliating students. Assist with ongoing quality assurance activities as assigned.

• Hours: 32hrs
• Shift: Day Shift; Monday - Friday with call rotation every 5th weekend
• Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at time of hire is required.
• WILLING TO TRAIN IN IR!
• BLS required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
