Join Midstate Radiology Associates (MRA) as a Patient Representative

Primary Location: Multiple Locations Throughout CT

Position Type: Full Time Regular

Schedule: Monday through Friday 1st Shift

Position Summary:

• Provides a full range of varied, multi-skilled secretarial, clerical and administrative support under general direction that requires creativity, independent and discretionary judgment, and complete confidentiality to ensure that the needs of the internal and external customer are met.
• Greets and assists patients, family members physicians and hospital staff
• Assist in patient flow by preparing exam requisitions assuring that all pertinent documentation is present and accurate.
• Schedules patients and confirms appointments.
• Follows established policies and procedures set by the department, hospital, state, TJC, and OSHA.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience providing customer service in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience/proficiency working with Electronic Health Records (EPIC experience preferred).
• Must be committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
