Being a Physician - Radiology treats benign and malignant growths with exposure to x-rays and radioisotopes. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Radiology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Radiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - Full support staff including Licensed Pharmacist, Boarded Radiation Physicist, Certified Medical Dosimetrist, 12 Oncology Nurses, 2 Medical Oncologists, 4 Registered Radiation Therapists, On-site Laboratory/Pharmacy, Financial Counselor, Social Worker
- Elekta Versa HD, Phillips CT, Microselectron HDR unit and Phillips Treatment Planning
Cases and Procedures:
- Brachytherapy not required
- Linear Accelerator: 18-25 PPD and 60-100 consultations and follow-ups per month
