The Student Affairs division at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applicants for a Recruiter. The College Recruiter’s role is to create interest in Horry-Georgetown Technical College programs and services among prospective students and the general public through means of recruitment, giving presentations, and promoting the College, with the end goal of increasing the number of prospects and applicants who complete the admission process and enroll in classes.
The Recruiter will be responsible for participating in recruitment opportunities with area K-12 schools, giving presentations, collecting prospect information and applications to the College, and following up using a communication plan. The Recruiter will assist with the College's campus tour program including daily tours and group tours, as well as utilizing the Ellucian Recruit software to follow up on chat requests, information requests, and campus tour requests.

Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
A combination of education and experience will be considered. Prior experience in higher education that is directly related to recruitment is recommended. Candidates must be able to demonstrate examples of prior success in recruitment efforts, initiatives, and strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be able to relate to diverse populations, have an engaging personality, and be able to speak to groups with confidence. Must have a strong work ethic and have strong attention to detail.
