Senior Helpers is currently seeking a Recruiter to work in their Overland Park office.

In this role you will be responsible for planning and implementing recruiting campaigns in addition to full-cycle recruiting of our caregiver staff to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, collecting pre-employment documents, and retention.

The Recruiter will need to use various online sourcing techniques to build candidate pipelines for open positions. In addition to a strong online presence, the Recruiter will partner with outside resources and maintain meaningful relationships with referral sources as it relates to identifying and hiring top talent. Work directly with the Owner and Care Team Manager to ensure the acquisition, growth, and retention of long-term client and caregiver relationships.

PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES

• Oversees recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement and orientation of all new caregiver personnel
• Collaborates with Care Team Manager and office staff to determine hiring needs and develop multifaceted hiring programs
• Maintain updated candidate information in ATS and personal care software
• Prepares employee packets prior to orientation, and conduct orientation
• Prepares and maintains compliant personnel files
• Represents company at internal and external job fairs, college campuses, personnel agencies, business professional groups, and other locations throughout the community
• Develops full-cycle recruiting strategies to target and recruit candidates from a variety of sources using various techniques including third party job boards and industry events
• Creates, posts, and maintains job advertisements
• Determine applicant qualifications by conducting pre-screen interviews of applicants; analyzes responses; verifies references; and compares qualifications to job requirements
• Schedules in-person interviews based on pre-screen results of suitable candidates to move forward in interview process
• Manages workload based on goals, personal initiative and prioritization
• Participates in on-call after hours telephone rotation, including weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree and one to three years related experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-direction with exceptional communication skills
• Highly organized and able to work under time pressures and manage multiple demands simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn other software programs quickly
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
• Experience with recruiting, healthcare recruiting a plus
• Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
• Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
