This is a full time Monday
Friday position with limited weekend assignments on an as needed basis. This position will be in the office for the majority of the time with limited in office recruitment.
Job functions to include :
Recruit HHAs (home health aides) and PCAs (personal care aides) throughout the tri-state area, Nassau County and Suffollk.
Prepare advertisements and job postings
Attend job fairs and present employment opportunities to the general population
Maintain personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH regulations
Perform all functions related to the hiring process from interview up to and including orientation
Build and maintain relationships within the community to develop referral sources
Requirements :
Bilingual in English / Spanish or Creole
Reliable transportation to cover field appointments and visits throughout the tri-state area and Westchester County
Excellent written, communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently; detail oriented with ability to prioritize and follow up
Able and willing to cover if necessary other offices
Previous health care experience; preferably HR, compliance or recruiting
Knowledge of NYS DOH personnel hiring requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of HHA exchange software system
Knowledge and proven record on relationships with referral sources such as training schools
