Job Summary:

Responsible for developing and implementing the outreach/service program to referring physicians, developing and implementing a patient care program, quality assurance program, implementing community relations programs, and participating in ongoing process improvement for all departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with media and hospital marketing departments to market physicians and services.
• Develop and implement a focused outreach program to referring physicians and potential referrers.
• Market specific CHI services to area physicians.
• Analyze reports for trending and identify areas of potential increase in referrals.
• Establish positive relationships with referring physicians and staff.
• Maintain ongoing contact with offices through visits, phone calls, and mailings.
• Serve as liaison between referring offices and CHI department to ensure satisfaction with our service, resolve problems, and communicate areas of concern to CHI Directors and President.
• Seek opportunities to educate community on CHI facilities and services.
• Implement ongoing patient relations program integral to all areas of practice.
• Handle external referral of staff and referring physician complaints that are not resolved by department managers.
• Monitor customer service processes in clinical and non-clinical areas to determine means of improving quality of service to patients and referring physicians.
• Work closely with the President and Directors of departments to help improve processes and guidelines to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction.
• Work with President and Clinical Director to ensure efficient and high quality service is provided to patients and referring providers.

Education:

• Degree in marketing, community relations or related field.
• Experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in physician/community relations preferred.
