Physician Residency Coordinator oversees the administration and scheduling of the physician residency program of a healthcare organization. Coordinates and facilitates the activities of the physician residents and provides the resources necessary to fulfill curriculum requirements. Being a Physician Residency Coordinator ensures physician activities comply with governing bodies such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or other applicable regulations. Supports the recruitment and selection process of resident physicians. Additionally, Physician Residency Coordinator administers and maintains a system or database to manage schedules and physician performance metrics. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physician Residency Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     St. Michael Medical Center is looking for an RN to join our team in our hospital in Silverdale!     Responsibilities

    The new St. Michael’s progressive care unit has the latest in equipment. Many of our rooms have ceiling lifts. Our teams are supported by respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy on the units, rapid response team, case management on the units, and a team of engaged physicians.     Job Summary
    This 32 bed telemetry monitored unit houses PCU level of care with some medical/telemetry overflow as well. This is our primary stroke unit that also manages respiratory and cardiac patients. This unit is staffed at a 1:3-4 patient ratio consistent with national standards of care.

    Essential Duties
    • Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention.
    • Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.
    • Manages high flow & bipap patients.
    • Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events.
    • Train to work as charge nurse.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
    • Previous PCU or ICU experience preferred.
    • Previous Emergency room experience also considered
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
    • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire.
    • CCRN or PCCN encouraged.

    Pay Range
    $40.80 - $68.92 /hour
