Physician - Rheumatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Rheumatology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Rheumatology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Rheumatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.   • Busy West Knoxville Rheumatology office in need of FULL time Medical Assistant (certified). Monday to Thursday 8:00 until 5:00 and Friday 8:00 until noon.

    Duties include but not limited to:

    1) Politely escort patients to exam room.

    2) Prepare supplies for clinical procedures such as aspirations and injections

    3) Take patient vitals and chief complaints, prepare for exam and treatment

    4) Respond promptly and courteously to patient phone calls, liaison between patient and physician.

    5) Maintain patient records in EHR (Intergy) and document as needed

    6) Chart lab

    7) Knowledge of anatomy

    8) Prefer candidate with strong skills in organization, time management, communication and must be a team player with an upbeat attitude

    9) Phlebotomy and x-ray would be VERY helpful

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.99 - $20.46 per hour
