Physician - Sports Medicine examines and treats sport or athletic related injuries. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Sports Medicine monitors patient during sport events or physical activity and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Sports Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Sports Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. * Support of several specialty providers who practice in the Dunkirk office including podiatry, infectious disease, GI trained-proceduralist and Hem/Onc
* In addition to providing Primary Care Services at this site, they also offer exercise stress testing, nuclear medicine testing, echocardiography, vascular and general ultrasound, bone densitometry and an extensive array of non-invasive cardiovascular services including Holter and Event Monitoring and a pacemaker/AICD device clinic
* Also offer office procedures such as joint injection and aspiration as well as minor surgical and dermatological procedures
* Call: 1:4
* Academic practice with residents and students from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine rotation

The group has Board-Certified Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers providing care for the residents of several beautiful lakefront communities! The network includes primary care doctors, surgeons, and specialists. The physicians not only work closely together, but also with area hospitals, to ensure seamless health care for their patients. The group has 12 locations overall, with the largest facilities in Fredonia and a state-of-the-art medical mall in Jamestown. They'll provide the opportunity to be the consummate physician and practice the wide variety of medicine for which you were trained!
