Position: Urology Technician
Responsibilities:
- Providing urinary catheterizations, urinary drainage tube irrigations, ultrasonic bladder scanning, and home-going education related to self-catheterization or urinary drainage tube irrigations.
- Responding to calls in the inpatient and ambulatory setting at both the St. Marys campus and downtown/Methodist campus.
- Pushing a mobile supply cart from call to call.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or successful completion of GED.
- Previous healthcare education or experience.
- Hospital medical background preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to unpredictable fluctuations in workload volume.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and aseptic techniques.
- Must be male.
License or Certification:
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. If you do not currently possess this certification, it will be provided as part of the orientation program.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $21.21 - $30.11 per hour.
- Education, experience, and tenure may be considered when determining compensation.
