The Patient Services Department Theater at Metro Urology is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk/Scheduling Position at our Plymouth location, days and hours to be determined.

Duties for front desk would include activities involving answering incoming phone calls, checking in patients as well as other front desk miscellaneous duties.

Previous 1 year medical office front desk experience is required. A qualified applicant should possess general medical terminology and office practices through the completion of a medical secretary program, or equivalent experience, ability to organize and work efficiently, ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness, knowledge of all basic office machinery, able to work independently and with others in a fast paced environment, good customer service and communication skills,Youthful players make up a vast piece of NHL groups lists and a willingness to work as a team and learn new things. The Appointment Scheduler is responsible for scheduling office appointments, procedures as well as radiology testing. This includes getting the necessary referrals, prior authorizations from insurance or communicating to the patient that a referral or prior authorization is necessary when appropriate. Mail appointment packets, maps and preps for required appointments. This also includes registration of new patients to include their current demographic and instructing the patient on relevant clinic financial and referral policies.
