Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physicist works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Education:
1) Master’s Degree in a Physical Science or Engineering
Experience:
1) Three to five years’ experience in a hospital based or free standing Radiation Oncology Center.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1) Must have ability to work cooperatively with other personnel in the department and the Medical Center.
License/Certification/Registration:
1) Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics through either the American Board of Medical Physics or the American Board of Radiology.
