Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with codes and standards. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Install and assemble pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment
- Repair or replace damaged or defective piping systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient installation of piping systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Knowledge of tube bending techniques and ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and standards
