Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in industrial environments.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading machines
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and other components according to specifications
- Inspect and test installed systems for leaks or malfunctions
- Repair or replace damaged pipes or components as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as welders, electricians, etc.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and industry standards

Skills:
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and cutting pipes accurately
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in pipefitting work
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with rigging techniques for lifting heavy pipes or equipment
- Understanding of codes and standards relevant to pipefitting work
- Proficiency in pipe threading techniques
- Welding experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
