Pipefitter, Sr. jobs in Columbus, GA

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters and helpers to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

• Build, install, and repair piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Perform pipe threading and cutting to ensure proper fit and secure connections
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with piping systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and placement of pipes

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
• Proficiency in pipe threading, cutting, grooving, and installing steel and galvanized pipe.
• Proficiency in installing threaded and grooved fittings, pipe hangers, threaded rod and unistrut bracing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Must have a minimum 2 years experience in the pipe fitting field.
