Pipeline Maintenance Manager oversees the repair and maintenance of pipelines. Verifies pipeline safety. Being a Pipeline Maintenance Manager schedules repairs and maintenance. Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new pipeline installation. Additionally, Pipeline Maintenance Manager develops safety procedures for pipeline maintenance and ensures workers are trained and in compliance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipeline Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.   • The Commercial Accounts Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of maintenance contracts averaging $1M-$1.5M in sales, provide excellent customer service, and ensure delivery of quality services to ensure contract renewal. This position of responsibility would be the liaison between the owner of the company and its commercial clients.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Project management; Sell, estimate, and manage maintenance bids

    Up sell property enhancements to customers; 10% sell goal of account value

    -Coordinates all-seasonal color

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
    • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Assist in job scheduling and routing when needed
    • Plan curriculum and presentation of weekly safety and training meeting
    • Complete Quality Control reports
    • Work with Plant Healthcare applications as needed
    • Work as a "floater" among maintenance crews as needed
    • Help with snow work as needed.
    • Effective Team Player

    The candidate must demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of success. Requirements include:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in large scale lawn care and maintenance experience. This includes a through knowledge of general lawn care practices including irrigation, plant materials, drainage, equipment operation, water features, and problem diagnosis and treatment.
    • Minimum of 2 years of employee management experience
    • Exceptional inter-personal communication skills
    • High personal standard for quality and customer service
    • College degree and/or industry certifications very desirable
    • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office needed, as well as ability to read and understand accounting reports for job costing, billing, etc.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record as required by federal and state law.

    Ability to pass Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) or Qualified Applicator License (QAL) test within 1st month of employment. Certified Landscape Technician Certificate (CLT) desirable.
