Pipeline Maintenance Manager oversees the repair and maintenance of pipelines. Verifies pipeline safety. Being a Pipeline Maintenance Manager schedules repairs and maintenance. Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new pipeline installation. Additionally, Pipeline Maintenance Manager develops safety procedures for pipeline maintenance and ensures workers are trained and in compliance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipeline Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Pipeline Maintenance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Video Pipeline Inspections, Inc. is a local business that performs CCTV inspection and cleaning/maintenance services for contractors and local municipalities.
The general helper's role consists of assisting the CCTV Operator and/or Vac Truck Operators with what they need. Examples include cleaning the shop, account for all tools and fittings that are signed out, make sure job site is clean of debris and no equipment or tools are left behind, run to get parts or supplies if needed. The helper will be working around sewer systems, Waste Water lines, Storm lines, and water lines. Requires some lifting and carrying of tubes/hoses (up to 50 lbs.). This job is performed outdoors and you will be working in different weather conditions. This position consists of on the job training. Other duties performed upon request.
*Must Have a valid drivers license (*_not an id card_*), clean background and driving record, steady work history.
