Pipeline Maintenance Manager oversees the repair and maintenance of pipelines. Verifies pipeline safety. Being a Pipeline Maintenance Manager schedules repairs and maintenance. Coordinates with other management staff to ensure efficiency in preventative maintenance and new pipeline installation. Additionally, Pipeline Maintenance Manager develops safety procedures for pipeline maintenance and ensures workers are trained and in compliance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipeline Maintenance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Pipeline Maintenance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description:
Leads and directs the functions of Facilities, Maintenance, Real Estate Management, and Environmental Services for assigned facilities. Responsibilities include infrastructure and utility management, human resource management, facility planning, space allocation, construction and remodeling, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. Activities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the Essentia Health mission and will contribute toward the overall organizational priorities and objectives. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Education Qualifications:Qualifications:
Associate degree in facilities maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, management, or equivalent field of study.
Work Experience:
Minimum of five years previous experience in facilities maintenance.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Certification/Licensure:
Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certifications preferred but not required.
May be required for the Manager to be a licensed Master Electrician or a licensed Electrical Engineer with the state of Minnesota.
