A west Michigan CPA firm is searching for an organized individual to fill a part-time ( 8-20 hours per week ) Bookkeeper position at a fast paced construction company

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes day to day accounting and administrative work
• Processes payments and invoices
• Reconciles checkbooks or any other relevant accounts
• Processes weekly payroll
• Makes timely payroll liability payments
• Creates quarterly and annual payroll reports
• Processes proposals
• Requests and tracks insurance certificates
• Gathers and submits workers compensation information
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior bookkeeping experience
• Comfortable working independently
• QuickBooks desktop experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Prior experience in construction office

Job Type: part-time 8-20 hours per week

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience

• Hybrid – remote or office
