Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager will oversee the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, with a primary focus on employee relations, and compliance within the dynamic hospitality and theme park industry.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

      Human Resource Administration:

• Administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance management, talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.

Employee Relations:

• Handle employment-related inquiries, referring complex matters to appropriate staff. 
• Prior Union experience is a must!
• Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Assist managers in investigating workplace issues, identifying risks, and facilitating resolutions through employee relations programs.

Legal Compliance and Best Practices:

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Review policies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Ad-Hoc Duties:

• Handle unexpected tasks and collaborate as needed to accomplish goals.

Located at New York, NY:

• Some travel to various properties for meetings and addressing human resources-related matters.
