Description :

Monday - Friday 8am-4 : 30pm

This is a very fast paced roll. Position will consist of answering the phone to schedule patients to see one of the 11 physicians or 6 PA's or 2 NP's for cardiology tests and consults.

Calls will come in from doctors offices, specialist, PCP's, hospitals etc. All of the docs have specific preferences so it is a lot to learn.

They will schedule appointments in Athena software that is very easy to use. They will also pull referrals from the Genesys GEMS system.

During the day they will utilize Allscripts. The phones ring off the hook and it is a lot to keep up with. They will have to multi-task all day.

They will have to have medical office experience and be familiar with Procedures, the order that the appointments need to conducted, verification of insurance, etc.
