```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling appointments for patients in a medical or dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical terminology, medical scheduling, and providing administrative support in a healthcare environment.

```Duties```
- Schedule patient appointments using electronic scheduling systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure availability and proper allocation of resources
- Communicate appointment details to patients, including date, time, and any necessary preparation instructions
- Update patient records with appointment information and any changes or cancellations
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and scheduling
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team as needed

```Skills```
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of medical procedures
- Experience with medical scheduling systems, such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
