Pipeline Technician is responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Being a Pipeline Technician performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. Completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Additionally, Pipeline Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipeline Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft components and accessories in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, identifying all needed parts, tools and supplies for non-routine discrepancy findings.
Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters.
Performs set-up, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies of repaired products and is able to perform maintenance on 145 shop support equipment.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, be a team player with a professional attitude, actively participate in continuous improvement, accurately account for time on task, can maintain a clean, professional work area, and is familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures.
MUST:
· HAVE BASIC MECHANICAL ABILITIES.
· BE PREPARED TO WORK 40 HOURS/WEEK AT OLYMPIA AIRPORT, TUMWATER, WA.
· HAVE BASIC DC-AC ELECTRONIC SKILLS.
· HAVE BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF HYDRAULICS OR PNEUMATICS OR ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MOTION CONTROL CONCEPTS.
· EMPLOYEE DRUG AND ALCOHOL SURVEILLANCE MANDATORY
