Pipeline Technician is responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Being a Pipeline Technician performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. Completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Additionally, Pipeline Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipeline Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are a local construction company looking to hire a Heavy Highway Construction Laborer, someone with at least 5 years experience with water main, sewer, civil construction and/or site work installation. Please do not apply if you have not worked for another construction company doing similar work.
Responsibilities include work geared toward the installation of water main, sewer, site work, civil construction, which includes, but not limited to: restoration work (seeding, topsoil, spreading straw), concrete work, paving, material handling(getting materials from staging yard or trucks as needed and knowing what materials to get), site cleanup, digging by hand, flagging as needed and other tasks necessary for the project at hand.
Eligible candidates must have reliable transportation, license, High School Diploma or equivalent, OSHA 10 a plus but training can be arranged . CDL-A driver's license a plus, but not necessary.
Prevailing Wage rate will be paid on all public work jobs and benefits are paid out as well. We are looking for a candidate who can work in a group setting of employees that do not beat around the bush, we work hard and know what needs to be done and expect that you will do the same.
