Position Summary:
Performs a variety of highly responsible, complex, and confidential administrative and financial functions. Organizes and oversees the fiscal operations and functions of the Clerk’s office. Provides information, assistance, and high-level administrative and financial support to department/division head, assigned staff and/or the general public. Provides customer service. Performs financial duties involving payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget, contract management, procurement, and capital assets. Oversees fiscal policies and procedures in accordance with county, state, and federal regulations. Oversee the operations and functions of assigned office. May exercise supervision over administrative support staff.
Pay Grade: 110
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business administration or a related field • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in governmental accounting • Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities • Class C driver's license
