Plan Design Coordinator jobs in Danbury, CT

Closets by Design Connecticut is currently seeking a motivated individual to immediately fill the position of Plan Checker.  As a Plan Checker, you will work with Designers and Programming to ensure the viability of designs and build standards.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Review sales designs to ensure that the design is compliant with the company’s product offerings and installation requirements and limitations.
• Define and work efficiently to resolve design questions.
• Alert Programming and Production with questions
• Understand company Pricing, Production, and Installation Department requirements for installing organization systems
• Comply with all company policies and standards of behavior and performance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review Designs - Understand the company's standards and product offerings for building high quality organization systems.
• Understanding of 32mm system - This is helpful knowledge to have but if you have a basic understanding of carpentry we can teach you the rest.  

Minimum Preferred Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College training preferred.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the 32MM system is preferred by not a requirement
