POSITION SUMMARY:

The Entrepreneurs’ Center (EC) is a modern economic development organization whose efforts focus exclusively on supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. The EC delivers support for entrepreneurs through all phases of the business development and commercialization process, from idea inception to business growth and expansion. The EC seeks a talented and motivated Marketing & Design Coordinator to support a rapidly growing marketing department. The incumbent will integrate marketing and design efforts across various EC departments to reach entrepreneurs, community leaders, and partners.

JOB DUTIES:

The EC Marketing & Design Coordinator will be responsible for:

?        Marketing Strategy

?        Develop and manage marketing strategies in collaboration with the Director of Marketing

?        Conduct market research and build brand personas to deepen brand message and reach

?        Support email marketing strategy, analyze campaign KPIs, and suggest improvements

?        Assist with PR strategy development and craft press releases for the EC and EC clients

?        Stay on top of industry trends to keep the EC ahead of changes that impact the brand

?        Graphic Design & Website

?        Design impactful marketing materials for print, web, and social media (images/videos)

?        Uphold brand integrity and strengthen visual recognition to increase brand awareness

?        Translate strategic direction into high-quality, brand-appropriate design collateral

?        Build a consistent brand experience across multiple touchpoints and audiences

?        Publish and maintain website content, including articles, events, and various media

?        Social Media

?        Develop, schedule, and manage content across social media channels; track engagement

?        Create compelling copy and on-brand visuals that drive user engagement and action

?        Optimize and tailor content for each social media channel to increase target KPIs

?        Utilize social media marketing tools for monitoring and reporting objectives

?        Stay up to date with current tech trends in social media, design tools, and apps

?        Other

?        Participate in EC and partner events within the Dayton entrepreneurial ecosystem

?        Perform other duties as assigned by management and executive staff

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

The EC Marketing & Design Coordinator should possess the following qualifications:

?        Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills;

?        A keen eye for visual storytelling along with attention to detail are key;

?        Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva;

?        Background in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn;

?        Familiarity with CRM and CMS platforms;

?        Experience in copywriting and editing;

?        Excellent time management skills, high dependably, and strict adherence to deadlines;

?        Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, and directors;

?        Self-starter with the capability to work independently;

?        Must be intellectually curious about entrepreneurship.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

?        Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field;

?        Two to three years of experience in a related field preferred;

?        Candidates with demonstrable experience in social media and copywriting strongly preferred;

?        An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above.
