Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and checking them in
- Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records system
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Proficient in medical scheduling and administrative support tasks
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Understanding of medical terminology is a plus
