Position Overview:

The Proposal Development Coordinator is an inspired full-time proposal creator who will develop detailed proposals and presentation content in response to RFPs. This position works closely with Creative leadership, the Sales team, and the Marketing manager. The Proposal Development Coordinator will develop innovative written and visual sales proposals, graphic artwork, and brand marketing materials including but not limited to the duties listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Reviews RFP to create visual deliverables for clients.
• Partners with sales team and creative lead to develop deliverables for client proposals.
• Research and gather information for formatting, writing, and organizing while managing multiple projects.
• Creates proposals within assigned deadlines, including written copy and graphic design elements.
• Creates Photo Boards and special internal & external marketing projects.
• Ensures accuracy of content and proposals for the Sales Team
• Attends Sales Team and Client meetings as requested.
• Meets strict deadlines as determined.
• Delivers high quality proposals that meet all Destinations by Design brand standards.
• Takes directions from various departments and ownership of each proposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by VP and Director of Creative
• Performs other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace.
• Familiar with Canva
• Basic formatting and copy-editing skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
• College degree preferred or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
