Plan Design Coordinator works closely with clients to design group health, dental and/or life insurance plans to create an overall benefit package. Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Coordinator ensures that plan meets appropriate internal, as well as legislative guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Plan Design Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Coordinator works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Responsible for general graphic design, web, digital and print advertising to include ads, brochures, rack cards, billboards, direct mail, bi-weekly Chronicle, tracking of print advertising costs and placements, event and Physician portrait photography as needed. Develops content for social media and facilitates/updates quarterly in-house directory. Serves as photographer for hospital events and marketing purposes as well as select classes. Responsible for HHC website and intranet content. Job duties will occasionally require travel to other parts of Houston County and surrounding areas. Responsible for all other projects and duties assigned.
High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to multi task and prioritize. Ability to utilize various office equipment and audio-visual equipment. Must have reliable and readily accessible transportation.
