Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Coordinator ensures that plan meets appropriate internal, as well as legislative guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Plan Design Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Coordinator works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.
