Plan Design Coordinator works closely with clients to design group health, dental and/or life insurance plans to create an overall benefit package. Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Coordinator ensures that plan meets appropriate internal, as well as legislative guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Plan Design Coordinator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Coordinator works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. - If you have back-office experience (dental assisting), this will be an EXTRA PLUS. If you desire and are motivated, we can train the front desk.
Job Duties:- All aspects of front office experience are required, from answering the phone to treatment planning and presentation.
- Friendly and articulate with answering phones professionally.
- Insurance preauthorization.
- Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Financial arrangements.
- Proficient in Treatment plan presentation.
- Billing - including data entry and payment processing. AR.
- Working knowledge of Dental software like Dentrix, paperless is an extra plus.
- Scheduling for best production.
- Requirements: We are looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual who is eager for knowledge, motivated, a team player, and wants to progress in dentistry.
- Work well with other team members and able to lead all front desk teams to optimize daily weekly and monthly goals.
