Plan Design Specialist works closely with clients to design group health, dental and/or life insurance plans to create an overall benefit package. Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Specialist monitors and analyzes cost trends. May handle more complex plan design. Additionally, Plan Design Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Overall Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the design, layout, build, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in a manufacturing environment. Job duties included, but are not limited to:
Essential Job Functions:
· Build, modify, or develop controls, integration, and electrical portions of manufacturing equipment
· Provide schematics/documentation of electrical control systems utilizing AutoCAD Electrical
· Perform electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical schematics
· Participate in daily production team meetings
· Discuss machine operation variations with managers or maintenance team members to diagnose problems or machine repair
· Read shop orders and maintain records of completed orders
· Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Operate a forklift and maintain a forklift license
· Maintain clean and organized workstation; complete 5S checklists
· Work individually or with team members as assigned, maintaining a positive work environment
· Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional moderate lifting (50 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb up or down ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
