Plan Design Specialist jobs in Las Vegas, NV

Potential Design Assistant will help with Project Management working in Microsoft and Google Suite Applications, Quickbooks, REVIT maintaining a nice work flow. Ability to perform well in stressful situations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors
• Assisting the designer with needs and design ideas
• Helping create initial design concepts, architecture themes and ideas based on client requests and space availability
• Assisting in overseeing the buying process of all raw materials for the construction phase and items required to complete the project
• Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress
• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
• Support Lead Drafters and/or Project Managers and Interior Designers in designing and preparing complete and accurate technical drawings for design and product manufacturing utilizing computer-aided design systems
• Writes and optimizes general plan specifications in preparation for drafters, vendors, client and builder review
• Revises specifications and or drawings and completes standard calculations accurately
• Conducts field visits to locate site information and collect data
• Attends team meeting weekly to delineate design requirements and team information building
• Participates in specialty design work as needed
• Manages and organizes client files for construction and furnishings
• Promotes a team growth mindset

Required Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Interior Design or similar construction related field
• Must have 2 years design or construction experience
• Experience in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Google Suite required. Other project management software, computer aided drafting, adobe or other experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
