    An Electronic Health Plan Specialist II(E-HPS) is a caring and energetic individual passionate about serving seniors, understanding their healthcare needs, and improving their quality of life. The services provided by an E-HPS II result in increased access to care, financial savings, and directly affect the lives of those they serve in a very positive way. The position is highly specialized and requires continuous training and certification on all health plans that SBHIS/INSURUS of AZ is contracted with.

    The primary focus of an Electronic Health Plan Specialist II (E-HPS) is to engage in telephonic MAPD, PDP, or Medicare Supplement enrollments with prospective members who contact SBHIS/INSURUS Of AZ through the call center or company website. An E-HPS II will be expected to enroll into other products as they become available. An E-HPS II will work cooperatively with other members of the E-HPS team to grow the company’s existing client base and participate in special projects that will assist in retaining the company’s existing business. An E-HPS II is expected to meet or exceed quarterly sales goal or quota, which is normally established by Executive Team. In addition, an E-HPS is aware of all company marketing campaigns and assists in tracking their effectiveness by following call tracking procedures. An E-HPS II embraces and lives the company’s mission, vision, and values. They are considered an integral part of the SBHIS/INSURUS Of AZ family. They are crucial in the implementation of company-wide initiatives. As ambassadors of our brand promise, “Excellence in Services with Heart,” they are tasked with delivering during every encounter.

    KEY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES THAT WILL ENSURE THE CRITICAL SUCCESS OF THIS POSITION:

    • Complies with Medicare, Medi-Cal (Medicaid) and State sales, marketing and enrollment regulations.
    • Develop and adjust knowledge of Medicare and Company contracted health plans to meet the specific needs of prospective clients
    • Provide prospective clients with product quotes, benefits and service information
    • Engage in telephonic MAPD, PDP, and Medicare Supplement enrollments with prospects that call into the call center, visit the Company website or other Company generated leads
    • Maintain up to date and clear records about new prospects and existing members in the Company’s customer relations management program
    • Follow up with prospects & members in a timely manner to increase the likelihood of an enrollment and member retention
    • Transfer prospects who insist on a face to face appointment to a Customer Service Representative (CSR) so that they may communicate with field agents in the prospect’s vicinity to set an appointment.
    • Engage in Welcome calls with members to make sure they have received all of their new health plan information, assist in scheduling any pending appointments with new doctors, ensure they have all of your contact information and are happy with current plan
    • Maintain up to date and clear information about assigned leads in company lead management system.

    · Assist in the tracking of all marketing campaigns by adhering to the Call Tracking Procedures

    · Develop skills to achieve and exceed monthly sales goals or quotas.

    · Strive to create a positive work environment for their co-workers.

    · Perform other related duties as assigned by the EHPS Manager or SBHIS/INSURUS OF AZ Executive team

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    · Has obtained a Life & Health license and able to sale in all states that the Company is contracted to sell in (Arizona)

    · Exceptional Customer Service & telephone sales personality skills.

    · Excellent written and oral communication as well as listening skills.

    · Comfortable with conflict resolution & problem solving

    · Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients & team

    · Thorough knowledge on all company services and products.

    · Goal oriented & Self Motivated

    · Organized & detail oriented

    · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

    · Computer savvy, able to multi-task with phone and data entry into the system

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

    1. Current Life & Health Insurance License for the state of Arizona

    2. Must complete ALL certifications and testing within 30 days of employment

    3. College preferred but not required

    4. One year of sales experience & customer services experience

    5. Customer service skills highly recommended

    6. Bilingual skills

    7. Background check required

    8. Must have a positive attitude and exemplary attendance

    9. Is expected to be a reliable and dependable team member

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
