The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the marketing activities for all product lines. The individual should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. They should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role plays an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. This is a fast-paced position that requires a quick-learning, hard-working individual. The person must be able to easily adapt to change, maintain a positive and professional attitude and work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
· Developing and implementing creative marketing campaigns
· Employing a variety of marketing, communications, and public relations strategies that may include direct mail, advertising, web, email, social media, news media, special events, and other methods.
· Researching and translating various forms of subject matter to produce content for fact sheets, brochures, articles, press releases, videos, social media posts and other internal or external communications.
· Managing an organization's websites and social media accounts
· Maintain and monitor the organizations Google Ads and Analytics accounts and track website leads and conversions
· Collaborate with other departments, including sales and product development, to ensure marketing campaigns meet company objectives.
· Ensuring consistent branding across digital and traditional channels for all product lines.
· Manage project timelines and deadlines for creative projects.
· Track effectiveness of marketing materials and campaigns to improve future efforts
· Research vertical markets and lead opportunities
· Manage Tradeshow participation and attendance
· Collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners on campaigns.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
· Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role required
· BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent preferred
· Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
· Must have experience in HTML coding and/or have full understanding of email campaign development – proof of knowledge required
· Must have experience in social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
· A high level of creative thinking
· Keen eye for attention to detail and proofreading
· Excellent copy-writing skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Professional exterior and attitude
· A strong work ethic with the ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
