Plan Design Specialist works closely with clients to design group health, dental and/or life insurance plans to create an overall benefit package. Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Specialist monitors and analyzes cost trends. May handle more complex plan design. Additionally, Plan Design Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. CDPHP and its family of companies include subsidiaries Strategic Solutions Management Consultants (SSMC), Practice Support Services (PSS), and ConnectRx Services, LLC.
The Reception Specialist will be responsible for providing a positive and efficient experience for all patients of the practice facility. This includes welcoming patients and assisting with checking in/out for appointments, verifying/updating patient and insurer information, scheduling, and assisting with payments as necessary. The Reception Specialist will also seek to provide excellent internal customer service, assisting each practice office with questions and follow up as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum one (1) year of experience with patient registration experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook is required.
- Experience with medical practice software strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency navigating multiple software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization and patient level.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
