Plan Design Specialist jobs in Youngstown, OH

Plan Design Specialist works closely with clients to design group health, dental and/or life insurance plans to create an overall benefit package. Works alongside underwriters, but is not an underwriter role. Being a Plan Design Specialist monitors and analyzes cost trends. May handle more complex plan design. Additionally, Plan Design Specialist requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plan Design Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Description:

    A Design Specialist is a professional who creates and maintains the visual appearance of a showroom, which is a space where customers can see and interact with products or services.

    Roles and responsibilities.

    • Define, design, and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy that reflects the brand identity and attracts customers
    • Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store, such as window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
    • Identify key messages and set a clear image of the result for each display.
    • Collaborate with contractors and other experts to achieve the functional and aesthetic needs of the space
    • Analyze how people operate and move in the space, as well as patterns of use
    • Oversee the design of the showroom, coach, and mentor employees, and monitor inventory
    • Attract and secure business by using sales techniques and marketing strategies
    Experience:

    • Knowledge of utilizing various software tools and programs, such as Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Dreamweaver, Xactimate, etc.
    • Strong skills in customer service, visualization, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or a related discipline, although an equivalent level of relevant professional experience may be acceptable.
    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
