JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for the overall day to day operations as well as the financial management, customer service and staff performance of the EMS Services for Miami County and the Emergency Department for Dukes Memorial Hospital.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure: Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana or Licensed Paramedic.
Registration/Certification: Must Possess Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or able to obtain within 90 days. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
Education: ASN or higher.
Bachelor’s degree is desired; equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
Experience: Five (5) years related work experience in the field as RN or Paramedic, with previous management experience.
